Coastal building means elevation, wind, salt and surge, all at once. Many homes sit on piers or raised stem walls with living space above the design flood level, and the walls on that upper level take the full force of the wind.
ICF walls give that elevated living level a reinforced concrete envelope. Paired with approved impact openings, continuous flashing and corrosion-resistant reinforcement, they make a coastal home a much tougher building.

About icf coastal and elevated homes
Does elevated construction change the wall system?
It can. Wind loads are higher on elevated walls, and the engineer will specify reinforcement and connections. We coordinate materials to that design.
What about the Coastal Construction Control Line?
Lots seaward of the CCCL have additional state requirements. Your design professional will advise on permits and design criteria.
Do you ask for a deposit just to talk?
No. Talking about a project, a takeoff and a quote are part of how we work. Orders are placed under a written quote you approve.
Are you a lead generation company?
No. We are not a lead generation company, and we do not sell leads. Your request stays with our team.
