What is Build PowerHouse Strong?
It is the home of the PowerHouse family of building brands: PowerHouse ICF, PowerHouse Windows & Doors, PowerHouse Composite Rebar, PowerHouse Liquid Applied Flashing, PowerHouse Supply and Eco Stain Busters. We help builders in Florida find and order the right materials for hurricane-strength construction.

What kinds of projects do you support?
New construction and full builds: custom homes, multifamily, commercial, civic and coastal projects, plus the materials and finishing services that make those buildings strong.

Who installs the products?
Some brands supply materials and some provide installation or application. Tell us what you need and we will point you to the right brand.
Products and hurricane strength
What is ICF?
Insulated concrete forms are foam blocks that are stacked, reinforced and filled with concrete to make a solid, insulated wall. They are popular in hurricane country for strength and energy efficiency.
What is composite rebar?
Fiberglass composite rebar, or GFRP, is a reinforcing bar made of glass fibers in resin. It does not rust, which suits coastal and wet conditions. The engineer of record specifies it.
Do impact windows need product approvals?
In wind-borne debris regions, yes. Products carry a Florida Product Approval or, in Miami-Dade and Broward, a Notice of Acceptance. We help you collect the documents.
What is liquid applied flashing?
A liquid membrane that cures into a seamless, flexible barrier at openings, joints and walls, keeping wind-driven rain out of the building envelope.
What is CitraShield?
Eco Stain Busters uses CitraShield, a biodegradable, no-rinse treatment, to lift algae and mildew stains from roofs and exterior surfaces without pressure washing.

What do you need for a takeoff?
Floor plans, elevations, wall sections, the window and door schedule and the structural drawings if you have them.
Can you deliver to my site?
We plan deliveries to jobsites across Florida, including tight, remote and barrier-island sites. Tell us about access and we will plan around it.
Can deliveries be staged?
Yes. We can plan deliveries by phase or building so material arrives in the order your crews use it.
Your information
Are you a lead generation company?
No. We are not a lead generation company. We do not sell leads. Your request comes to our team and goes nowhere else.
Do you sell my information?
Never. We use what you send to answer your request and plan your project.
Who sees my plans and messages?
Our team members who handle your request. We do not share them with other companies.
