Those black streaks on a Florida shingle roof are usually algae, often a species called Gloeocapsa magma, feeding on the limestone filler in the shingle. Left alone they spread, and pressure washing can strip granules and force water under the shingles.
Eco Stain Busters uses CitraShield, a biodegradable, no-rinse treatment applied with low pressure. It targets the organism, including its roots, and then weather finishes the job over the following weeks. There is no pressure washer on the roof and no bleach.

About shingle roof stain removal
Why not pressure wash a roof?
High pressure can loosen granules and push water under shingles. A no-rinse treatment avoids that.
Is CitraShield safe around plants and pets?
It is biodegradable and free of bleach and harsh acids. Follow the technician’s advice about the area during treatment.
Do you ask for a deposit just to talk?
No. Talking about a project, a takeoff and a quote are part of how we work. Orders are placed under a written quote you approve.
Are you a lead generation company?
No. We are not a lead generation company, and we do not sell leads. Your request stays with our team.
