02Information on this site
The articles, guides and tools on this site are general information about building materials and construction. They are not engineering, architectural, legal or code advice, and every project and every jurisdiction is different.
Always confirm design, product and code requirements with your engineer of record, your design professional and your building department. We try to keep the site accurate, but we cannot promise that it is complete or current.
03Quotes, orders and products
A quote is based on the plans and information you send. If plans change, quantities and quotes may change. Products are sold and services are performed under a written quote, order or agreement that you approve, and that document controls the scope, schedule and payment.
Product approvals and documents are provided as a convenience. You remain responsible for confirming that a product is approved for your project and location.
04Engineering and design
Structural design, wind design and product selection for a specific building are the responsibility of the project’s design professionals. Tools on this site, including estimators and planners, give general estimates only.
05Your submissions
When you send a request, plans, photos or messages through this site, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to send it.
06Brands, links and third parties
This site links to the websites of the PowerHouse brands and may link to other websites. Each brand’s own terms apply on its site. We do not control other websites and are not responsible for their content.
07Limits of liability
